Soon, ARMA will launch the application collection procedure for financial aid for investments aimed at protecting waters against pollution with nitrates from agricultural sources as well as farm irrigation systems. The application collection procedure for investments on farms located in Natura 2000 areas is also planned.
The relevant announcements of the President of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARMA) have just been released. They state that:
- As from 30th November 2020 till 28th January 2021, it will be possible to submit applications for financial aid for operations of the “Modernization of agricultural holdings” type under the “Support for investments in farms” sub-measure within the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 in the scope of farm irrigation systems,
- As from 29th December 2020 till 26th February 2021, it will be possible to submit applications for financial aid for operations of the “Investments aimed at protection of waters against pollution with nitrates from agricultural sources” type under the “Support for investments in agricultural holdings” sub-measure covered by RDP 2014-2020,
- As from 1st December 2020 till 30th December 2020, it will be possible to submit applications for financial aid for operations of the “Investments on farms located in Natura 2000 areas” type under the “Support for investments in farms” sub-measure covered by RDP 2014-2020.
To receive aid from the above-mentioned programmes it will be – as always – necessary to meet a number of formal requirements. So if you plan to invest in the construction of, for example, manure plates or slurry tanks, or intend to build a water intake for the purposes of field irrigation, you should immediately start collecting the relevant approvals, permits and other necessary documents that will facilitate obtaining the desired financial aid.
